Gas Protest Convoy Rolls Through Atlanta

ATLANTA -- Hundreds of tractor-trailers formed a long convoy that drove through metro Atlanta Tuesday.The convoy consisted of independent truck drivers who are protesting high fuel costs by driving in the convoy instead of delivering products.Several truckers said Monday that with diesel close to $4 a gallon, they could be forced to park their big rigs for good.Other truckers are planning to strike to protest fuel costs.
