LILBURN, Ga. -- The death of a 51-year-old man whose body was found in his home near Lilburn Tuesday is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

Officers entered the home on Kenion Forest Drive at around 4 p.m. Tuesday after someone called to ask police to check on a resident there. Officers found the man’s body a few minutes later.

Police identified the victim as Tedla Lemma.

Authorities said the preliminary investigation indicates the man died from unnatural causes. The cause of death remains under investigation, police said.
