SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. -- A California woman walked away from "The Oprah Winfrey Show" $25,000 richer Wednesday.During Wednesday's taping, Sue Draper was the one lucky audience member awarded money by Publisher's Clearinghouse, KSBW-TV in Monterey, Calif., reported. Each audience member was asked to fill out forms prior to the taping of the Chicago-based show. Three members of the famous Publisher's Clearinghouse prize team then drove on stage and announced that one of the audience members had been selected for the $25,000 price. That person was Draper. The trip to the show was the end of a long quest to see the show in person. Draper's son, Matt, told KSBW-TV that a friend bought the "Oprah" tickets at a silent auction years ago and surprised Draper with them. But the two had to delay their trip to the show for two years because Draper's husband, Lee, was fighting a long battle with leukemia.Lee eventually lost that battle in September, and the couple's son said his father's final wish was for his wife to finally go and see the "Oprah" show.
