COVINGTON, Ga. -- A shooting at a home near Covington left one man dead, and another man and a teenager wounded, deputies said.

Newton County Sheriff’s Lt. Tyrone Oliver said that officers arrived at the home Monday morning and found the three had been shot. Oliver said one victim, Calvin Kentrell Banks, 34, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Oliver said the other shooting victims are a man and a teenage girl, who were being treated at area hospitals. Their identities were not released.

Oliver said a man who fled the shooting scene on foot is being sought.
