Rockdale Deputy Injured In Crash

Deputy Flown To Grady With Unknown Injuies

A Rockdale County deputy crashed his car on the way to a burglary call.

It happened in Conyers near the intersection of Adrian Circle and McDaniel Mill Road.

The officer went over a crest and lost control on the shoulder.

He hit a mailbox, street sign, and culvert, turned over and clipped a house and a utility pole.

He was able to get out of the vehicle himself, but was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital.

CBS Atlanta does not know the extent of the officer’s injuries.
