Deputy Flown To Grady With Unknown Injuies

ROCKDALE, Ga. -- A Rockdale County deputy crashed his car on the way to a burglary call.It happened in Conyers near the intersection of Adrian Circle and McDaniel Mill Road.The officer went over a crest and lost control on the shoulder.He hit a mailbox, street sign, and culvert, turned over and clipped a house and a utility pole.He was able to get out of the vehicle himself, but was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital.CBS Atlanta does not know the extent of the officer’s injuries.
