ATLANTA -- The two teenagers sentenced to 10 years in prison for torturing a puppy and baking it in an oven may leave prison early.Georgia's sentence review panel will reconsider the 10-year sentence Justin and Joshua Moulder received last year for the crime, which shocked people across the country.“Hopefully, through my prayers, they'll be home and we're gonna have fun. We're gonna be a family again,” said father Jody Horsley. The brothers also admitted to showing the dead puppy to children, threatening to kill them if they told.Horsley said despite that, 10 years is more than some killers have to serve.“I think the time they have done already should be sufficient enough,” he said.Animal activist Carole Bache was in the courtroom for the Moulders' trial. She's horrified the sentence could be knocked down.“I would've loved to see them get twenty years,” Bache said. “There is a history of violence. This isn't a first offense for them. To hear they might get out is scary.”Animal rights groups are sending letters to the review panel, urging the judges not to change the sentence.
