Kim Fettig

Kim Fettig is the Consumer/Financial expert dedicated to saving consumers money on CBS Atlanta News. Kim currently co-hosts CBS Atlanta News at 4pm, and reports on major financial matters.

She previously served as an award winning investigative reporter and was named Journalist of the Year in 2006 by the Atlanta Press Club after a series of stories on government misspending and homeland security. In the past, Kim’s covered everything from the National Conventions to the major Hurricanes up and down the Florida coast.

Kim joined CBS Atlanta in March of 2004. Prior to CBS Atlanta, Kim reported for WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut. During her time at WFSB, Kim was the main reporter on the Governor Rowland impeachment scandal and also reported from New York City on September 11th and the days that followed.

She was raised right outside Tampa, Florida and started her career in 1999 during her senior year in college, working as a reporter at WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida.

In mid 2009, when Kim saw the economy hitting Atlanta families harder than ever, she took action outside of work and became the “Co-founder of “Free fab’rik” an Atlanta charity dedicated to clothing and mentoring families in need.

Kim lives with her husband in Atlanta and loves all that living right in the city has to offer. In the summer, she enjoys visiting family in Florida and in the winter, you can usually find her heading to the slopes of Colorado.
