Atlanta, GA -- (Sports Network) - Georgia Tech sophomore forward Gani Lawal announced on Monday that he will enter his name in the NBA draft but will not hire an agent.

"I intend to put my name in the draft and go through the interview and workout process and see where I might fit in," Lawal said. "I want to keep my options open for staying at Tech, but I think it's important to gather all the necessary information."

The 6-foot-9 Lawal averaged 15.1 points and a team-best 9.5 boards last season. He also led the ACC with 15 double-doubles in points and rebounding during his sophomore year.
