Davidson, NC -- (Sports Network) - Stephen Curry's historic 34-point performance helped lift the Davidson Wildcats to a 99-56 rout of the Georgia Southern Eagles in a Southern Conference matchup at Belk Arena. Curry is now the all-time leading scorer in Davidson (24-6, 17-2 SoCon) history with 2,488 points. He shot 11-of-19 from the floor, 5-of-9 from three- point range and 7-of-7 from the foul line. Andrew Lovedale added 14 points, while Steve Rossiter finished with 12 points and nine rebounds. Ben Drayton scored a team-high 18 points but also had 10 turnovers for the Eagles (8-20, 5-14 SoCon), who have lost 10 of their last 11 games. Colby Wohlleb chipped in with 11 points, and Tyler Troupe finished with 10. Davidson sprinted out to a 16-0 lead and went on to shoot 53.1 percent from the floor in the first half. The Wildcats led at halftime, 50-24. They didn't let up in the second stanza, shooting 56.3 percent from the floor en route to the lopsided home win. The Eagles struggled in just about every facet of the game, as they shot just 35.6 percent and committed 25 turnovers. They were also out-rebounded, 44-26.
