NCAA Game Summary - Wofford At Georgia

(Sports Network) - Corey Godzinski scored 13 points and collected six rebounds to lead the Wofford Terriers to a thrilling, 60-57 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in a non-conference battle at Stegeman Coliseum.

Jason Dawson added 12 points off the bench for Wofford (1-1), while Noah Dahlman and Jamar Diggs contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the victory.

Travis Leslie led the way for Georgia (1-1), netting 17 points to go along with seven boards and five assists. Trey Thompkins added a double-double in the loss, chipping in 14 points, while pulling down 16 caroms.

Despite shooting just 36.7 percent from the floor in the first half the Terriers went into the break with a 29-26 advantage.

Wofford used strong defense in the second stanza, holding Georgia to just 37.0 percent shooting from the field, en route to the three-point victory.

The Terriers connected on 6-of-17 attempts from behind the arc, while Georgia made only 2-of-14 shots from long range.
